If you are looking for dance classes in Gloucestershire, you have come to the right place! Our Adult Ballroom, Latin, Salsa & Tango Dance Classes are held at the Bredon Village Hall in the lovely village of Bredon, Gloucestershire just outside of Tewkesbury.
Our Fun Dance Classes are taught by a Fully Qualified & Knowledgeable Dance teacher (IDTA).
Easy access off the B4079 and B4080 in Gloucestershire. And the A435 from Bishop’s Cleeve & Cheltenham.
Plenty of free parking next to the bowling green and also across the street.
Everyone welcome with or without a partner. So get out and get dancing !

7:30pm – 8:30pm Simple Latin: Cha Cha with Attitude - For Beginners. "Step One".
Learn to Cha Cha Cha like the best of them then dance it like you mean it! Cha Cha is a lively, playful Cuban dance that teaches you to have fun with the Latin rhythm. A Very popular class, easy to learn and Loads of Fun. Sessions are just £6 per person - Pay as you go.
Suitable for: Absolute Beginners with no dance experience to more experienced dancers who have not yet tried this dance style or dancers who would like a refresher. (If your Cha Cha Cha is more Ha Ha Ha than this is the class for you.) All ages welcome with or without a partner.
8:30pm - 9:30pm Beginners Fun & Easy Argentine Tango Dance classes. "Step One".
Argentine Tango is loved by dancers and audiences for its beauty, passion, drama and excitement. The dance is emotional, dramatic and 'Dance at 8' makes it easy to learn.
Suitable for: Absolute Beginners with no dance experience to more experienced dancers who have yet to experience this style of Dance (or would like a refresher.) If you have a background in ballroom tango, just think of Argentine tango as a completely new dance - Not as an enhancement of the one you already know. Everyone welcome with or without a dance partner. £6 per person-pay as you go.
Please Note
We rotate our wide variety of dance styles around our venues in Gloucestershire & Worcestershire so that everyone has a chance to learn all of the dance styles.
Our dance classes in Worcester, Droitwich, Malvern, Pershore & Bredon / Tewkesbury are not too far from each other and many people travel to our other venues.
If you see a class at a location near you that looks interesting, take it while you can, because we do so many different dance styles it may be a while before it returns to that venue.
Our classes normally run for 6 weeks in length. In that time we concentrate on only one or two dance styles as advertised. This allows you to really focus on that particular dance. With Dance at 8’s method of teaching you get a very solid routine in just 6 weeks which you will feel confident dancing socially providing you practice.
You may join up to the second week - no later - unless you have previous experience with that dance style and have contacted us. 01386 556 665. Everyone welcome, with or without a partner.
We teach technique throughout all of our classes. (Even beginners) so even if you have been dancing for years don't be put off by our Beginners classes. We also choreograph all our dance steps so we don't just do the standard 'basic steps’. Even if you have been dancing for years you never know what you may have forgotten (or indeed have never learned).
